The widespread effects of Hurricane Matthew continue to have an impact almost two weeks later. The property damage and lost business in North Carolina alone is estimated in the billions of dollars. Entire towns have been destroyed due to flooding and thousands of people are still in shelters.
According to Convoy of Hope, their response continues in Haiti and the U.S. as they provide assistance to families in need. They have served more than 13,000 people in the U.S. covering the four states affected by the storm – Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Culligan delivered over 73,000 bottles of water to Convoy of Hope last week for distribution to children and families in need and will continue to provide support as needed in the upcoming weeks and months.
