Southern parts of Missouri have received heavy amounts of rainfall over the weekend, prompting Governor Eric Greitens to declare a state of emergency as flash flooding continues in many areas. The state reported nearly 100 evacuations and nearly three dozen rescues after a storm that moved from the southwest to the east dumped between 3 to 9 inches of rain on saturated grounds and waterways. Culligan provided a load of bottled water which Convoy of Hope’s response team delivered to the Ellington, MO community where the local water treatment plant was flooded.
