Flooding and military vehicles were a common sight in the City of Katy on Monday as the rains of Harvey flooded the city and nearby highways. On Tuesday, Culligan learned that the Katy Fire Station was in desperate need of water. Within the same day, Culligan Cares was able to provide over 6,000 bottles of clean, safe water to the Katy Fire Department with the assistance from the Culligan dealership in Houston. The water is supporting over 200 first responders from Katy and those dispatched from other parts of Texas. The Katy Firefighters made 518 water rescues within those first 24 hours, many involving multiple people. Culligan has delivered more than 130,000 bottles of water to those communities most in need with more on the way.
