Culligan Cares has partnered with the American Diabetes Association (ADA) to support their Tour de Cure events across the U.S. The Tour de Cure is one of the American Diabetes Association's signature fundraising events. With strong support from the business community including sponsorship and corporate teams, the events raise funds for research, advocacy, programs and education.
Culligan dealerships around the country have participated in these events by donating water, forming a team to participate in the events and participating in the post event festivals.
Culligan of San Diego employees joined the riders, runners and walkers for American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure event held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego on April 14.
The team from Culligan of San Diego joined others with the same passion to fight diabetes. Sales Manager, Kelly Crosby, said, “It was a great experience for the whole team who participated! We walked the Del Mar Fair race track which was an awesome experience as well!”
The event had over 500 participants and raised over $200,000. Culligan of San Diego is already planning to participate and donate water for the 2019 Tour de Cure!
