Culligan dealerships around the globe strive to make a difference in their local communities. The Culligan of Ida Grove dealership exemplifies the values Culligan holds high.
Their dealership provided the water for the 24th Annual Whitey Thompson Hike-Bike-A-Thon Dollars for Scholars. This event had 630 students and raised over $75,000. Hike Bike helps fund college scholarships for graduating high school students living in the cities of Odebolt, Arthur, Battle Creek, and Ida Grove (OABCIG) who apply.
Culligan of Ida Grove is directly helping their local community to make sure the students in their district have an opportunity to receive a college education.
In 2017, 43 graduates received $143,928 in scholarships. Over the past 23 years, Hike Bike has donated over $834,000 to OABCIG Dollars for Scholars.
