Being active in the community is always top of mind for our Culligan dealers, but when it comes to kids, we’re even more enthused to give back. Culligan dealer Paul Moorman of Ontario, Canada has been participating in the Rotary Loves Kids! Golf Tournament in Belleville for over 10 years. The tournament includes a full day of golf, along with an after-golf benefit including dinner, dancing, and a silent auction benefiting a variety of causes around the area. These include the local Easter Seals Camp for Children, the Children’s Foundation, whose mission includes improving the lives of at-risk youth, and the Belleville General Hospital, most specifically to obtain diagnostic equipment for their pediatric patients. In total, the event raised over $1 million to benefit children locally, a big win for Belleville.
Not only does Culligan participate in the activities, Culligan bottled water was donated to thirsty tournament participants as they work up a sweat helping kids in need. “We’re lucky to be able to support a number of local charitable foundations and events,” Paul Moorman relayed to us, “but definitely, the Rotary Loves Kids! The Golf Tournament is one of our favorites that we look forward to every year!”
Culligan Belleville has been a family owned dealership since 1955. Their team of 21 Culligan men and women consider supporting worthwhile causes an important and vital part of their business and community life. Last year they donated almost 300 cases of water to various community events and this year they’re hoping to donate even more! Culligan is a two-time Top Dealer in Canada and a 2006 Emmett Culligan Award winner.
