Culligan of Ida Grove continues to show tremendous community support donating and participating in local charitable events each year.
Earlier this year Culligan of Ida Grove made generous donations to the Kid Zone Child Care Center. Kid Zone is a full-time, non-profit child care center that provides care for families located in Ida Grove, Holstein, Battle Creek, Arthur, Odebolt, and several other local communities. Culligan of Ida Grove donates water to their annual Halloween fundraiser each year, raising money for essential equipment and supplies, as well as toys for the children. In previous years, enough funds were raised to purchase a vehicle, providing the freedom to transport children from parks, swimming pools, nursing homes, Moorhead conservation center and various other outings. Culligan of Ida Grove has been donating to this great fundraiser annually for 3 years.
On April 14th, Culligan Ida Grove also supports Ida Services Inc.’s (ISI) annual spring formal. ISI provides services to those with disabilities. The organization has helped members integrate into being active and supporting members of the community through a variety of different services. ISI has been active in the community for over 40 years. Participants of the spring formal ate, danced, and quenched their thirst with Culligan Water.
Carroll High is a local Highschool in Ida Grove. Carroll High hosts an annual blood drive, participants donate blood to hospitals helping suffering patients. The blood drive took place on March 22, participants of the blood drive were able to rehydrate thanks to Culligan of Ida Groves’ generous donation of water.
For over 10 years Culligan of Ida Grove annually supports the Dollars for Scholars fundraiser. Dollars for Scholars is a student orientated fundraiser that has been active for over 24 years. Local students ranging in age from Pre-School to High School walk or bike the Pleasant Valley Trail. This fundraiser gives students an opportunity to raise money for future scholarships. Since Dollars for Scholars originated, the fundraiser has raised over $898,900!
